Easter

          EASTER TRADITION

As a child,  each year my family would celebrate “Easter”. The night before,  my brother and I, along with our mother would prepare and color the eggs. We had so much fun !!!!   I remember waking up so excited on Easter morning and running into our living room, looking for my basket.  A basket which would be full of goodies including, a giant chocolate bunny, chocolate eggs and miniature candies.  After recieving our baskets we would empty them and go outside to our yard to begin our easter egg hunt.  We enjoyed it so much and each time we found an egg it was so exciting.  This holiday is very celebrated in the United States, people decorate their yards by posting bunny signs and hanging plastic eggs on their trees. I could say that not only have I been blessed to have a father that is from the United States, but I have also been able to live the culture, and have the opportunity to pass it on to my daughter.
