Memories of Floyd E. Kellam High School, Virginia (USA).

I attended Kellam High school from 1991-1995. Back then the population was of 2000 students. The school offered a diversity of extracurricular activities, clubs and sports. The different sports included, golf, tennis, cross country, cheerleading, football, volleyball, hockey, wrestling, indoor track, gymnastics, basketball, baseball, outdoor track, and soccer. Among the clubs were, the spanish club, french club, orchestra, drama, and many others. Many years have passed since I graduated, “Class of 95”, but the memories are still fresh. My years in high school were great, I remember in science class, how we had to disect frogs, in photography class, going to the lab to develop pictures, in fashion class preparing with classmates our fashion show that was held at the schools auditorium, and also going on a class trip to Manhattan, New York. My trip to New York was unforgettable, I went with my fashion class and teacher, Mrs. Cindy Miller, we had a wonderful time. During our stay, we had the chance to see “Phantom of the Opera”, and “Les Miserables” at Broadway Theater. These are just a few of  many things I enjoyed while being in School. I am thankful that I was able to attend middle school and High school in the United States, and hope that one day my daughter will also have the opportunity to do so.
